About the PLC

Imagine a place where you can explore, be creative and learn all at the same time! The Prairie Learning Centre is located in Val Marie, SK and lies next to Grasslands National Park. The Prairie Learning Centre uses the rugged landscape of Grasslands National Park as its outdoor classroom.

Climb your way up to the famous 70 Mile Butte, stumble upon the majestic bison, or discover dinosaur fossils in the beautiful Frenchman River Valley. The Prairie Learning Centre has something from everyone: Art, Skills, Ecology, Community and Adventure!
